Getting old is something
That you get used to

I don't even feel these
Reading glasses on as I

Write this and think that
I may be able to handle

This aging thing better
Than expected when

I first started to realize
My sight was going

I thought my eyes
Were blurry from

Allergies and yet
Maybe it's true;

Maybe I'm allergic
to youth
