THE JOURNAL OF SHANE OBSCURE BY SEAN DUSK

I wrote my first novel titled THE JOURNAL OF SHANE OBSCURE in 1999 because I had the "Novel Blues" and wanted to get it over with. Having written short stories imitating Hemingway and poetry that I had a better grasp of, it was that time to write something longer.

To call SHANE a novel, though, is a bit of a reach. But there is a beginning, middle, and end: The story centering on a group of friends hanging out in their twenties and doing absolutely nothing in particular.

The main character, Shane, befriends an overweight has-been named Marc, who teaches him how to drink and live beyond the constraints of the dreary suburbs... SO START THE ADVENTURE NOW...
